Blue Mountain

June, 2004

This was originally about seeing Secret Lake which, on the chart, looks like a blue jewel nestled in a green velvet pouch. The lake turned out to be a blue jewel nestled in a field of massive boulders. The views from Blue Mountain and the hidden meadows along the return route proved to be the real gems.
